We had a great 4th of July weekend but my camera batteries were dead. We spent the day on the boat and then went to a friends to grill out. Later we headed back over to Lake Caroline to watch the fireworks. My mom and dad were at our house with Leighton and took her outside to watch the fireworks. I couldn't believe she wasn't scared of them. Mom said she pointed at them the whole time. We are headed to Chicago tomorrow for our 5 year anniversary. Yes, I said 5 years. I can't believe it. I guess the saying "time flies when you are having fun" is true! I will post pics of the trip and some of Leighton's new favorite things when we get back!
