Easter Fun

We had a great Easter! We went to church Friday night for the Good Friday service but were on nursery duty Sunday morning. It was my first Sunday not to be in a church service. I was kinda sad but I know I have to do my duties as a church member. Have no fear...Kristen sang with me our favorite Easter hymns. I hate it for anyone that was listening. We aren't the most musically talented sisters.

I think Leighton thought Santa came again a little early. She didn't really know what to think about getting "peasents" (presents) all day. But of course she wasn't complaining ... she was loving it! We had Easter lunch at my parents and then went to see Andy's parents. It was a GREAT day celebrating Our Savior's resurrection.

Easter egg hunt at Causey's house. Leighton didn't do much hunting. She would find and egg, eat the candy out, drop the egg back on the ground and repeat this over and over. I couldn't believe she took a nap after eating all that sugar. We both had a great time at the party.
